<description>This is a funny, sweet, sad storytelling podcast where a genius, a storyteller, and a buffoon attempt to reconcile their tastes and aspirations with the fact that, for now, and for reasons, they live as they do.
The world is a puzzle that can be solved, but you have to work at it. It’s a grind. Talking the things that annoy, amuse, confuse, and bedazzle you through is part of the alchemy that spins your lead into gold. This is us trying to do that. Except, at the end of the day, that’s all bullshit. And you can’t just hope that it will work out. You have to push and push and push, except when you don’t. And that’s when you have to just shrug it off and believe that it will probably be ok.

<description>This episode was recorded on June 2, 2020 and on September 1, 2020.
Just after Memorial Day, we were watching people all over the world standing up in response to the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis Police Department by declaring, once again, for everyone to hear: Black. Lives. Matter.
We didn't know if we could do a show on that topic. We didn't know if we could have a conversation about something so incredibly fraught with potential to alienate, hurt, and put a potential wedge between the genouis, the storyteller and the baffoon whose conversations drive this podcast.
So we agreed, to just talk. Record some thoughts.
And then, as people started to forget, and the protests, although they continued, were loosing media coverage and helping all the streights to forget that the United States is awash in systemic white supremicy and racist policies, a kenosha police officer fired seven shots into the back of Jacob Blake.
And so we thought it would make sense to release our formative thoughts on the topic, recorded back when we were a baby podcast, just getting our feet wet and trying to feel our way out.
