<description>This is a funny, sweet, sad storytelling podcast where a genius, a storyteller, and a buffoon attempt to reconcile their tastes and aspirations with the fact that, for now, and for reasons, they live as they do.
The world is a puzzle that can be solved, but you have to work at it. It’s a grind. Talking the things that annoy, amuse, confuse, and bedazzle you through is part of the alchemy that spins your lead into gold. This is us trying to do that. Except, at the end of the day, that’s all bullshit. And you can’t just hope that it will work out. You have to push and push and push, except when you don’t. And that’s when you have to just shrug it off and believe that it will probably be ok.

  <description>Update on 8/31/2020
Things changed since this recording. If you care to know, Gabe's back at school with students starting Sept. 3.
Recorded on 08/18/2020
A storyteller, a genius, and a buffoon consider the one thing everybody who has ever lived or will ever live will face one day: Death
Nkenge organizes a frank and thoughtful discussion on the nature of grief, grieving, and death. Gabe and Nick talk about their experiences with grief and loss; there is a surprising amount of levity for such a topic. Don't skip this one, folks. It's magic.
Mini-Topics:
* Nick: Which email Nick gives you says a lot about your relationship with him.
* Gabe: Jefferson County is full of Rat Lickers.
* Nkenge: What to do then about the scourge of spam texts? What do they want from us?
