<description>This is a funny, sweet, sad storytelling podcast where a genius, a storyteller, and a buffoon attempt to reconcile their tastes and aspirations with the fact that, for now, and for reasons, they live as they do.
The world is a puzzle that can be solved, but you have to work at it. It’s a grind. Talking the things that annoy, amuse, confuse, and bedazzle you through is part of the alchemy that spins your lead into gold. This is us trying to do that. Except, at the end of the day, that’s all bullshit. And you can’t just hope that it will work out. You have to push and push and push, except when you don’t. And that’s when you have to just shrug it off and believe that it will probably be ok.

<description>See what we did with the title there? We made it a Long Election. With all those E's. Aren't we clever?
We didn't want to record a podcast about the Election. But on Nov. 5, we did anyway. Well, some of us did. And it didn't work out great.
There were problems.
1. There was no way to know how this one would age, but we knew it would age quickly.
2. There was no way to know how we would feel about it later, but we knew we would feel differently.
3. There was no way to know that Gabe's track would be recorded by the onboard microphone in the world's cheapest webcam and therefore, make the discussion section completely unlistenable.
Portions of Gabe's side of the conversation section of this episode were re-performed in order to make them listenable.
It's an unusal episode, but at least it's short.
